The NHL can claim they lost money all they want. The real way to phrase it is that they didn't MAKE $100 million dollars. And it's their own fault so it really doesn't matter how much money they "lose".

Great show Paul - Pete, Stu, Tom Jeff, Ek - a lot of hockey for the hockey-deficient of us out here. It was upbeat in light of the lockout. Much needed.
So now the first 2 weeks of regular season games are cancelled I wonder will it hasten the talks or add more acrimony? The long term health of the NHL requires a long term agreement, this starting and stopping bullcrap is self-sabotaging insanity.
